I just read over Spin Magazine’s top 40 albums of 2009.
I really don’t think I agree with most of them…some I do, but not all..anyone else see this and have comments/thoughts? I’d be interested in discussing this.
Dream
Last night I dreamt that I was co-star in a Will Smith movie. Except in my dream it was real and not a movie. But me and Will Smith ran around shooting zombies, and I’m pretty sure he was already in a movie like that, so I’m gonna go ahead and say that we were co-stars in a movie…
That’d be pretty cool…to co-star with Will Smith in a movie…especially a zombie...

It Never Gets Old...
…Watching my dog chase her tail. You’d think after 4 years of having a dog it wouldn’t be as hysterical…but it is. It cracks me up every time!!
Things I Don't Understand...
…Girls that wear an insane amount of make up and push up bras and dye their hair a very obvious not natural color. I mean, maybe I’m just at a point in my life where I feel really comfortable with myself…or maybe I’m too poor to afford high end hair styles and make up (that’s probably true to a point)…but, I’m all about the natural beauty.

Weekend
…So I just had one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long while. It included a bubble bath, home made dinner, a nap, and of course, CHRISTMAS SPECIALS!! Eric and I watched Charlie Brown Christmas and the Grinch…..I think the Grinch may be my favorite animated holiday movie with Rudolph in at a close second…it was so nice to sleep and cuddle all weekend, I wish more days...

Why does this exist? Seriously…why? I mean, I’m all about “sexual art.” Georgia O’Keefe did it lovely for example…but I think it needs to be subtle…no?

Chocolate Whiskey Truffles

I made two batches of these today. Some of you who read this, will be tasting these soon!
Makes 2 dozen
Ingredients:
8 oz. semi sweet chocoate (1 1/2 c. chocolate chips)
1/2 cup (one stick) butter
2/3 c. finely crushed ginger snaps
3 tablespoons whiskey (Jack Daniels or a kind you like, left overs are good!)
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 c. powdered sugar

I started crocheting a blanket while I was still at home being sick. It’s easier than knitting, so I think that makes me even more grandma like, cause knitting is actually hard, crocheting isn’t. But that being said, as the blanket gets bigger it’ll keep me warm AND I now have something to do while working, watching tv, or watching the bf play video games…
